HIGH SCHOOL: Attended West Valley High where she graduated in June…was an all-around athlete for the Eagles as she won four letters in volleyball and track, and three letters in basketball… in volleyball she was a four-year starter and the team captain her final two seasons…during her freshman year, the team won the Great Northern League and district titles and placed eighth in the state tournament… she earned honorable mention all-league honors…in her sophomore year, the team won the league title and placed fifth at state…she was named the team’s Defensive MVP…she won the Defensive MVP honor again as a junior as team placed seventh at state…team won league and district titles her senior year and finished third at state…she earned team’s Defensive MVP award and was a first-team all-league pick as well as the Spokane Valley Herald’s Athlete of the Week…in basketball she was a three-year starter at guard…her teams won the league and district titles her sophomore and junior seasons and placed third at state both years…in track, she participated in the 1,600 relay at state both her freshman and senior seasons, and in the pole vault as a junior…she was captain of the team her final two years and was selected as the school’s Most Valuable Female Athlete as a junior….also was a four-year Scholar-Athlete…graduated with a 3.98 GPA and was Salutatorian of her class.
PERSONAL: Born Oct. 25, 1993 in Spokane…parents are Thad and Karrie Schoesler, and she has one brother, Sam, who played football at Whitworth…played for the Spokane Splash Volleyball Club U13-U17…her U17 team placed third in the Fiest Classic in Arizona and won the Spokane Regional Tournament that qualified her team for the Junior National Championships in Reno, Nev…hobbies include boating, tubing, laying in the sun, playing Wii, and being with friends and family…she is undeclared with her major.
