FRESHMAN: Played in 33 matches and 73 games a year ago…was used mainly as a back-row specialist and finished seventh on the team in service aces with 11…also was seventh in digs with 103 and even had three kills…was used heavily at both the start and the end of the season…had highs of 12 digs twice early in the season against Wayland Baptist and Oklahoma Baptist in a tournament in Florida…also had nine digs against Northwest College at the NAIA national tournament…had season-highs of two assist twice, two service aces four times, and one kill three times…had nine matches with at least five digs.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Valley Christian High in San Jose…was a three-year standout in volleyball…her team reached the California Interscholastic Federation’s Central Coast Section DIV quarterfinals during her sophomore year…during her junior and senior seasons, the team qualified for the Central Coast Section IIII finals and the CIF NorCal playoffs...served as team captain and won the team’s Coaches Award as a senior…also was captain during her sophomore season.
