SOPHOMORE: Shared time with Ali Hubert as the backup setter to starter Nevena Dragovic…finished third on the team with 102 assists (six ball handling errors)…tied for seventh on the team with nine service aces…also had nine kills and 52 digs…had a season-high 23 assists early in the season against Bellevue…reach double digits in assists four times...was named to the Frontier Conference All-Academic Team. 

FRESHMAN:
Player in 21 matches and 37 sets during her initial season…showed promise as a setter as she finished third on the team in assists with 79…also had 15 digs, two service aces, and a kill…best match was a 22-assists performance in a five-set win over Madonna at a tournament in Florida early in the season…also had eight assists against Whitman...had a season-high four digs against Madonna and also had her lone block assist of the season in that match… recorded her kill against Warner Pacific… finished with a 2.1 assists per set average.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bishop Amat Memorial High School in La Puente, Calif…played on the varsity volleyball team all four seasons…won the Lancer Award as a freshman and then was a second-team all-Del Rey League selection as a sophomore and junior before being named to the first team as a senior…also was the team captain her final two years and was the team’s Offensive MVP as a junior and overall MVP as a senior. She also won the team’s Scholar Athlete Award…earned two all-tournament team honors…also played small forward on the basketball team.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 18, 1991…parents are Jose Hernandez and Analisa Moreno…has one sister, Maya Hernandez…earned Athletic/Academic certificate and Academic Gold Medal for having a 4.0 GPA while on the varsity for all four seasons at Bishop Amat…played in 18-year-old club team division for Long Beach Muizuno…played in the Junior Olympics tournament six times…was on her high school honor roll every semester…hobbies include being with family and friends, watching movies, going to the beach, and playing any sport…majoring in Business.
