Meet the Warrior Assistant Baseball Coaches

Chad Miltenberger

Chad gained the reputation as one of the most competitive athletes to ever play baseball at LCSC. He led Lewis-Clark State College to the school's first NAIA Championship in 1984. The respect he earned as an All-American catcher followed him to the coaching ranks where he is recognized by his peers and professional scouts as an outstanding collegiate coach. He has two degrees from Lewis-Clark State, Physical Education and Business Administration, and a master's degree from the University of Idaho.
Tyler Cheff

Tyler is in his third season as the LCSC pitching coach. He is a Lewiston native and played four years as a shortstop under legendary LHS Coach Dwight Church, the only player to start four years on a Church varsity team. Idaho State "Player of the Year" his junior and senior season. Played college baseball for the University of Hawaii Rainbows. A team captain his junior and senior seasons, his team came one win away from advancing to the NCAA College World Series in Omaha, NE in both 1991 and 1992. Played professionally in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Dave Schueller Dave played for the Warriors for the past two seasons. A defensive standout behind the plate, he helped the Warriors capture the 1996 NAIA World Series crown. He is currently taking classes at LCSC to obtain a degree in Kinesiology. Dave is in charge of running the weight room for the position players and also coaches the junior varsity team.
Miquel Inzunza

Infield Coach

Miquel is returning to LCSC to finish up a degree in Kinesiology after spending several years playing in professional baseball. Miquel was a standout shortstop for the Warriors in 1994-95. He is currently employed by the admissions office where he recruits high school students for LCSC. His baseball duties include working with the infielders and bunters.
Allen Jackson Allen finished up his college career in 1996, helping guide the Warriors to their ninth NAIA championship. He won the Golden Glove Award in the 1996 World Series for his outstanding defensive play at SS. Allen played briefly with the Sonoma State Crushers, an independent A level team, before coming back to LC to finish school. He is seeking a degree in Kinesiology. Allen, along with Dave Schueller, is in charge of the junior varsity team.
