Won the Central II Regional and attended the 1996 NCAA World Series. 1995: Was the closer for the College of San Mateo Posted a .099 ERA while recording 10 saves. High School: Attended Carlmont High School where his team won the 1993 Central Coast Sectional Tournament. Named to the All-County Team his senior year while posting a 9-5 record with a 1.97 ERA.
