Welcome to Lewis-Clark State College. You have
a made a good choice and I am glad that you
will be here with us. As you arrive on campus,
you will be introduced to a few of the things
that make this College so special, our dedicated
faculty, our beautiful campus, and our comprehensive
selection of highly relevant instructional degrees.
We offer a broad spectrum of majors in academic,
professional-technical and community programs.
The quality of our product, your education,
is nationally recognized.
Here, you’ll find yourself in an intimate, student-centered
environment, where faculties work closely with
students. The classes are small: you’ll find
no lecture halls filled with 300 students here,
no classes being led by teaching assistants.
With this kind of one-on-one interaction, students
are assured of the best opportunities to achieve
their educational and career goals.
Our campus is a functional and thoroughly enjoyable
place to learn and study. There are many activities
and organizations you can become involved with,
all of which contribute to the quality and value
of your education. Walking the sidewalks and
visiting with the people here is still the best
way to find out why this is such a special place.
LCSC combines the old with the new. Some of
our buildings are historic landmarks in Lewiston.
Other buildings, like our 3,800-seat Activity
Center, are a hub for both college and community
events.
The most important ingredient in the whole mix
is, of course, you. Students bring the unique
experiences, talents, goals and aspirations
that make the Lewis-Clark State experience so
meaningful.
