CECE offers Beginning Spanish, Landscape Design classes

A Spanish course for beginners and a Landscape Design class highlight the February offerings from LCSC's Continuing Education and Community Events office.

The Spanish for Beginners class is ideal for anyone planning to travel to Spanish speaking countries, who wish to brush up on the language, or are just beginners. Students will learn the alphabet, vowel sounds, spanish pronunciation, basic grammer structure and vocabulary.

Class meets Thursdays, February 15-March 8, 6-8 p.m. for 4 sessions. Cost for the class is $57.50.

Other classes in February include is the Do-It-Yourself Landscape Design by Aaron Parson, a 6-day course beginning on Feb. 6 for $60+supplies, and Let’s Knit, a 1-day course on Feb. 24 for $50, which includes supplies.

Classes are offered in a variety of subjects covering Arts & Crafts, Computers, Cooking, Dance & Music, Day Trips & Recreation, Family & Life, Finance, Health & Fitness, Home & Garden, Language & Culture, Mind & Body, and Photography.
