Four volleyball players earn academic honors
The Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team had four players earn Frontier Conference All-Academic honors for the 2006 Fall semester, according to Frontier Conference commissioner Mike Walker.
The four volleyball players are juniors Brittany Kubic of Ritzville, Wash., and Liz Paradis, from Council, Idaho, and sophomores Julie Maciboba of Kennewick, Wash., and Mindy Meyer of Rathdrum, Idaho.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and be a sophomore.
Maciboba also earned honorable mention all-Frontier Conference honors for her play last fall.
Volleyball and football players were the only student-athletes honored because those are the two conference sports that compete solely in the fall.
