CECE makes special offer to LCSC employees
LCSC Continuing Education & Community Events is pleased to offer a 20 percent discount to the first 30 LCSC faculty/staff members registering for any one non-credit class offered in the Spring/Summer 2007 Personal Enrichment catalog. This discount is made possible with funding support from the LCSC Community Programs office.
All full or part time LCSC staff or faculty members, including irregular help, are eligible for the discount; work-study students, spouses, children or other family members are not eligible.
Discounted registrations are facilitated by calling 792-2447, by faxing 792-2850 or visiting the CECE offices at 415 Main Street, in the LCSC Center for Arts & History building, downtown Lewiston. Online registration for discounted classes is not available at this time.
The catalog is available on campus at Reid Centennial Hall, Community Programs office in Sam Glenn Complex, Activity Center lobby, and the SUB. It is also available online at here
Classes are offered in a variety of subjects covering Arts & Crafts, Computers, Cooking, Dance & Music, Day Trips & Recreation, Family & Life, Finance, Health & Fitness, Home & Garden, Language & Culture, Mind & Body, and Photography.
A sampling of learning opportunities include, but are not limited to, Floral Design by Teri Harrington of Stillings & Embry Florists, a 3-day course beginning March 20 for $40+$20 supply; Wines to Dine for by Chef Bill Jollymore of Red Lion Hotel, a 1-day course on April 21 for $40; Sizzling Latin Dance Sampler by Julie Strobel, a 4-day course beginning April 20 for $33 individual/$56 couple.
If there is enough interest from faculty and staff, this discount program will continue next fall.
