ISBDC sets classes on business and Quickbooks

The Region II Idaho Small Business Development Center has scheduled classes on “How to Start A Business Boot Camp” and “Quickbooks” for July on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.

The Business Boot Camp will be held July 9 at 6-9 p.m. in room 12 of the Administration Building. The fee is $10 per person. The class will cover self-employment assessment, business feasibility, initial market research, start-up expenses/financial feasibility, choosing a business structure, obtaining financing, determining regulations, setting prices, creating marketing materials, and developing a business plan.

The Quickbooks class will run July 16-17 at 6-9 p.m. each night in room B-126 of the Sam Glenn Complex. The fee is $25 per person. The class will cover topics such as analyzing financial date, tracking and paying sales tax, estimating and progress invoicing, tracking time, customizing forms, and writing letters.
