Professional speaker will present three workshops
Professional speaker David A. Kelly will present three one-hour workshops on Leadership on Sept. 28 in the Williams Conference Center at Lewis-Clark State College. Each workshop is free and open to the public. His first workshop is entitled “Gonzo Recruitment Techniques for Student Organizations” at 12:30 p.m., followed by “Confidence in Leadership” at 1:30 p.m. His final topic is “Making the Most of Your 24/7” at 2:30 p.m. “Conference in Leadership” is intended to inspire and motivate leaders of organizations, those who seek to become leaders, and anyone interested in becoming more confident in their personal leadership skills. “Making the Most of Your 24/7” will show how to effectively manage time while juggling responsibilities, work, and other activities. The session will teach concepts that can be implemented for dramatic improvement in how best to use time. The “Gonzo Recruitment Techniques for Student Organizations” workshop will help groups effectively recruit new members. The workshop will highlight the best formats for student activities fairs. Kelly is regarding as America’s Student Leadership Trainer and has been a professional speaker, motivator, team builder, and trainer for more than 20 years. An expert on goal attainment, he has addressed groups across the United States, the Caribbean, and in Europe. A former stand-up comedian, he brings humor, energy, and fun to all of his presentations.
