LCSC volleyball has home matches in October
The Lewis-Clark State College women's volleyball team will be home for a pair of matches during the first week of October, playing host to Montana-Western on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m., and then facing Montana Tech on Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.
Both matches will be played in the LCSC Activity Center.
The two matches will complete the first half of the Frontier Conference schedule for the Warriors. After the two matches, LCSC will have seven conference and one nonconference match left in the season, but six of the eight will be on the road.
The Warriors were picked to finish sixth in the conference during a preseason poll by the league's coaches, but have been the surprise team this year. LCSC is enjoying its best season start since the 2001 campaign.
The team plays its final two home matches on Oct. 25 against Rocky Mountain at 7 p.m., and then on Oct. 27 at noon against Carroll College.
