LCSC Jazz Band will perform tonight

The Lewis-Clark State College Jazz Band will perform their annual Fall concert on Monday, November 19 at 7:30 PM at Lewiston High School Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Nov. 19 concert will contain a mixture of traditional and contemporary swing big band jazz by Count Basie, Mark Taylor, and Thad Jones-Mel Lewis.
Vocalist Kathleen Gemberling will be featured on a Gordon Goodwin arrangement of Too Close for Comfort and on a Michael Buble arrangement of Van Morrison's Moondance.

The LCSC Jazz Band under the direction of Bill Perconti is a numerous winner of the Open Division of the Hampton Jazz Festival. The big band comprises student and adult membership from the region, and features many area soloists such as Gary Gemberling, Shawn Bowman, Nick Johnson, and Bob Franklin.
