Potato Head will perform on Saturday
As part of the New Harmonies: Celebrating Roots Music exhibition at the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History, the Irish instrumental and folk group Potato Head will perform at the Center on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
The performance is free and open to the public.
The Center for Arts & History, in cooperation with the Idaho Humanities Council (IHC) and the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, will explore aspects of America’s roots music with the local showing of New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music, a Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition. New Harmonies will be on display through Jan. 5.
The concert series will close on January 4 with presentation of the Kartel Rhythm Section at 6:30 p.m. in the LCSC Center for Arts & History.
New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music is part of Museum on Main Street, a unique collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES), state humanities councils across the nation, and local host institutions.
