Self-defense class is set for Feb. 23
A one-day course called "Could YOU Defend Yourself?" by Eric Wegner & Joe Vaughan will be held Feb. 23 at 9:30-4:30 p.m. at room 122 in Activity Center West on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.
The course, paret of the Spring/Summer Personal Enrichment classes offered by LCSC Continuing Education and Community Events, has a cost of $36 per person or $66 for couples.
The class will work with strategic thinking, risk assessment, verbal self-defense, and the physical movements needed to evade and escape aggression – perfect for moms, daughters and best friends!
The 40-page spring/summer catalog offers over 80 LC Valley classes with 40 new titles. The catalog was mailed to area residents, and is available on the web at www.lcsc.edu/ce.
Classes are offered in a variety of subjects covering Arts & Crafts, Computers, Cooking, Dance & Music, Day Trips & Recreation, Family & Life, Finance, Health & Fitness, Home & Garden, Language & Culture, Personal Focus, and Photography.
