Vicki Cerruti golf tournament is scheduled for May 10
The Lewiston Service League will hold its fifth annual Vicki Cerutti Memorial Golf Tournament on May 10 at Bryden Canyon Golf Course.
The tournament is named after a former instructor in LCSC's Professional-Technical area.
All proceeds from the tournament directly benefit people in need in the Lewis-Clark Valley. The Lewiston Service League has been providing support to the community through various fundraising events since 1938.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be provided as part of your entry fee. Entry fees are $45 per person which includes green fees, a T-shirt, a goodie bag and lunch. If registration is received by April 15, 2008, the entry fee is reduced to $40 per person/$80 per team and the T-shirt size is guaranteed.
There are some fun things in store this year. Riddle Marine is the hole in one sponsor and the first person to ace the No. 3 hole in the tournament can win $20,000 towards a custom jet boat built by Riddle Marine.
There also will be a helicopter golf ball drop. Win up to $500 in this fun event. There will also be prizes for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Longest Putt as well as many door prizes. The divisions are men, women and mixed with prize money for overall low gross and low net. The maximum handicap will be 28. Mulligan are available at $5 each (maximum 2 – one for the front 9 and one for the back 9).
