Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s car will be on display at LCSC on April 18
A car used this year in a NASCAR race driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be on display at the Lewis-Clark State College’s Mechanical Technical Building on April 18 at 8 a.m.-noon.
The viewing is free and open to the public. Pictures also will be allowed.
The Mechanical Technical Building is located on the 500 block of 11th Avenue, west of Harris Field. The car will be on display in Room 109, which is the shop for the LCSC Auto Mechanics Technology classes.
The car has been used in a NASCAR race this year and is not a show car, which are not used in races.
Earnhardt Jr. is one of the most well-known racers on the NASCAR circuit. He currently stands fourth in the NASCAR Spring Series standings and has finished in the top nine in five of the seven races he’s participated in this season, which has earned him more than $1 million.
The display is sponsored by the Army National Guard. The car will later be on display at the Lewiston Shopping Center.
