LCSC Jazz Band to perform on April 28

The Lewis-Clark State College Jazz Band, under the direction of Bill Perconti, will perform a spring concert on April 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lewiston High School auditorium.
Vocalist Kathleen Gemberling will be featured, and the band will perform music by Sammy Nesitco, Dave Liebman, Tom Kubis, Antonio Garcia, and Lionel Hampton.
The LCSC Jazz Band is comprised of both student and community membership. Dating back to 1996, the Jazz Band is a seven-time winner of the Open Division of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, including an Adjudicator's Choice award at the recent 2008 festival.
The April 28 concert is free and open to the public.
