Volunteers are still needed for World Series
Volunteers are still needed to help with the 52nd annual Avista NAIA World Series, which will be held May 23-30 at Lewis-Clark State College’s Harris Field.
Most of the openings are the afternoon and evening shifts, which include 2-5 p.m., 5-8 p.m., and 7-10 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help in all areas, including the apparel shop, main concessions, and to serve as ushers.
Any individuals or groups who want to volunteer can either do so online at http://www.naiaworldseries.com/2008/volunteer.htm or call Jasmine King in the LCSC athletic department at 792-2275.
There are approximately 1,500 volunteer spots to fill during the Series each year.
