LCSC benefit show to feature music, comedy, and local talent
A benefit show to help support the Dene K. Thomas Investiture Fund scholarship for a full-time non traditional female student will run June 21-22 and 26-29 at the Silverthorne Theatre on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.
The scholarship was founded by Thomas, who has served as LCSC’s President for the past seven years.
The benefit show will feature live music, comedic skits, and local talent, and is for all ages.
Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. on June 21 and June 26-28.Matinees will be held June 22 and 29 at 2:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $5 at the door for general seating. Donations to the scholarship fund can also be given at the door.
This year’s musical revue will see the return of Cyndy Simpson as director and Dan Emerich as musical director. Fred Scheibe will choreograph many of the numbers, and the LCSC and community dance company Effusio, directed by Lauren Nichols, will participate in the entertainment.
