Hassett helps with health care textbook
Mary Ruth Hassett, retired Chair of LCSC's Nursing and Health Sciences, was recently acknowledged as a Reviewer for the new Pearson Health Science (Prentice Hall) textbook “Handbook of Informatics for Nurses & Healthcare Professionals”, fourth edition.
Published on July 25 with a 2009 copyright, this useful book introduces nurses and other health care professionals to the most current applications of computer-related technology in the health care environment. Included are practical computer-based applications for practice settings.
Hassett also served as the Media Contributor, writing the TestGen Test Bank (450 test questions) to accompany the book.
Lewis-Clark State College is referenced in the book as Hassett’s place of employment.
