ServiceFest is set for Oct. 1
The annual Lewis-Clark Service Corps ServiceFest will be held Oct. 1 at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College just east of the Student Union Building.
The Service Fest allows community service and non-profit organizations to show the public what they do and possible volunteer opportunities. The ServiceFest is free and open to the public.
ServiceFest organizers say the event helps connect people to community service by informing them of all the possible volunteer opportunities as well as what each organization does.
The event is sponsored by the LC Service Crops, which includes the Community Warrior Volunteer Center and the office of Service-Learning at LCSC.
The event also features treats, giveaways and prizes.
