Popular around the world slideshow is March 26
Marty Essen will present “Around the World in 90 Minutes,” a slideshow featuring Essen’s travels through the seven continents with his wife Deb, on March 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis-Clark State College Silverthorne Theatre.
The slideshow is free and open to the public.
While working on his book “Cool Creates, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents” Marty Essen took thousands of pictures and has picked the best of the group to put in his slide show.
During their travels, the Essens swam with piranhas, hiked with the Porcupine caribou migration, had close-up encounters with humpback whales, were surrounded by wolves, and survived a hippo attack.
The slideshow is filled with stunning photos, little-known facts, and humorous stories. Marty's show is both entertaining and educational.
Marty Essen has won multiple book awards for travel/essay writing, including the Benjamin Franklin Award, the Best Books Book Award, and the National Indie Excellence Award. He’s slideshow is a big hit on college campuses throughout the country.
