SweetArt event is scheduled for Feb. 13
The Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History presents the SweetART Event for Saturday, February 13, from 11am - 1pm in the Orchid Room at Morgan's Alley. The theme for the event is CUPCAKES! Both coffee and tea will be provided. Becky Riendeau will provide entertainment with music from the 1940's and 1950's.
Formerly this event was An Irish Tea. This year's event is a Valentine's Day celebration for friends and family of all ages! Local restaurants, bakeries and cake decorators have been invited to donate cupcakes which will be part of the menu and judged on creativity.
A menu for this event includes: Open Face Cucumber Sandwich Squares, Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Mini-Quiches, Sugar Cookies, Lemon Meringue Drops and Cranberry Coffeecake.
Tickets for the SweetART Event are $17 per person, and available for purchase at the LCSC Center for Arts & History at 721 Seventh Avenue, the Owl Pharmacy on Southway, …and BOOKS too! on 21st Street and on the LCSC Campus in the Community Programs office, Sam Glenn Complex #211.
The SweetART Event is sponsored by Dr. Richard Weiland. Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI) is an In-Kind sponsor by providing the dishes for the event.
Proceeds from the SweetART Event will directly benefit the LCSC Center for Arts & History, a department of Community Programs at Lewis-Clark State College.
