Kids' College is acception applications for class ideas

If you have the love and talent for something special that you just know children will enjoy learning, come join us this summer and teach a class for Kids' College at Lewis Clark State College. The LCSC Kids' College program is accepting class proposals for its summer sessions.

Kids' College has a variety of short-format courses designed to help kids entering grades 1-6 experience other cultures, enhance skills, and explore new hobbies. Instructors are needed for a variety of classes including creative/journaling or poetry, sign language and Japanese. We are particularly looking for instructors that wish to teach chess, clowning, ballet (all dance forms actually!), MS Powerpoint and MS Publisher. The deadline to submit a class proposal is February 18.

Kids' College features four sessions during the summer. The sessions are June 14-17, June 28- Jul 1, July 19-22, and August 2-5. Each class lasts 90 minutes and runs Monday through Thursday.

Anyone interested in teaching a subject from above, or another subject, are asked to visit the web site http://www.lcsc.edu/kidscollege or contact Alison Oman at (208) 792-2749, or e-mail communityed@lcsc.edu
