LCSC student art exhibit opens Friday at CAH
Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History will hold its annual LCSC Student Art Exhibition, April 23 through May 14, with an opening reception with the artists at 4-7 p.m. on Friday, April 23, at the Seventh Avenue Gallery location.
Live music from Vibeist Steev Turner of Moscow and hors d'oeuvres from La Boheme will be provided during the opening.
The LCSC Student Exhibition features the work of LCSC students in painting, drawing, and publishing arts. Students working under the direction of Professor Ray Esparsen and Professor Kevin Goodan will be displaying oil paintings, mixed media drawings, and chap books created during their classes in fine arts and the Talking River Review, creative writing publication class.
The exhibition is brought to the community through sponsorship from the LCSC Student Services, LCSC Humanities Division, Talking River Review and a grant from US Bancorp. The CAH is open Wednesday through Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are graciously accepted.
The Mission of the LCSC Center for Arts & History is to educate and engage community in an appreciation of culture, history and arts.
