Evening with Mark Twain set for Feb. 12
Tickets are now on sale for veteran stage actor Kurt Sutton's performance of "An Evening with Mark Twain" set for Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Silverthorne Theatre on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.
Tickets for the performance, which is part of the LCSC Silverthorne Artist's Series, are $12 for the general public, $8 for LCSC faculty and staff with LCSC ID cards, $6 for children 12 and under and Senior Citizens, and free for LCSC students with valid student ID card.
Sutton has enthralled audiences as an entertainer and motivational speaker for more than 30 years. He plays the harmonica, guitar, and banjo, and has appeared in the movies "Go Tell It On the Mountain" and "Night Shadows." He also has toured and performed as Mark Twain and Samuel Clemens for more than five years in theaters and events throughout the United States.
Twain is one of the most famous literary icons in the U.S., most notably for authoring the fictional stories "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and "Adventures of Tom Sawyer." Twain was also a musician, printer, journalist and riverboat captain.
Sutton’s interpretation of Twain blends literature, music and personality together to create an entertaining and inspired evening for all ages.
