CND, Testing Center, and LRC join to form PTEC
The Center for New Directions and Testing Center at LCSC have joined with the Learning Resources Center to form the new Professional Technical Ed Center at the college.
Because of federal funding cutbacks that forced a reduction in CND and other staffing, changes were made to combine offices to better serve clients.
The Professional Technical Ed Center's mission is to help with student retention of PTE students.
The PFEC's staff includes Muna Crook as coordinator, Karen Burton and Tami Jeffords as counselors, and Doris Swinford as administrative assistant.
