LCSC Sesquicentennial Kiosk Dedication is Friday
The City of Lewiston will hold a Sesquicentennial Kiosk Dedication near the north entrance of Reid Centennial Hall on the Lewis-Clark State College campus on Friday, Oct. 28, at 1:30 p.m.
The dedication will consist of welcomes by LCSC President J. Anthony (Tony) Fernandez, Lewiston City Council and Sesquicentennial Leadership Committee member Dennis Ohrtman, and Sesquicentennial Leadership Committee member Steven Branting, who will also give comments on the kiosk program. Fernandez then will give an LCSC historical overview.
The kiosk is called "Oasis of Learning, Mentor to Generations" and will be erected with grants from Alpha Delta Kappa, Fernandez and his wife Diane, Ohrtman and his wife Carol, and the LCSC Alumni Association. The kiosk will have pictures of the college through the years along with a written history of LCSC.
The public is invited to dedication.
