Test of Emergency Alert System scheduled for Nov. 9
The first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System will be carried out on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. It will be conducted at 11:00 am PST. LCSC will utilize this date and time to test our emergency phone/strobe light/PA system and to remind our campus community to be aware of the tools we have set in place for emergencies. Where is your phone tree? Is it accessible at home? What are the procedures? Are you familiar with your Building Evacuation Plan? We will also test the emergency web page. When the test notice is sent over the building PA do not evacuate the building unless you have been specifically instructed to do so by your Building Evacuation Coordinator.
