Meyer named Communications Director at LCSC

LEWISTON, Idaho - Greg Meyer, who served as the News Director at KLEW-TV from 2001-2011, has been named the Director of College Communications at Lewis-Clark State College, President J. Anthony Fernandez announced on Tuesday.

"Greg comes to us with a wealth of experience in media productions," Fernandez said. "We look forward to a long and productive relationship."

Meyer begins his post at LCSC on Feb. 20.

Meyer earned a BS in Telecommunications from the University of Idaho. His career at KLEW-TV began in 1989 and he served as the Promotions Director and Senior Producer-Director until 2010, and as the Production Manager from 1989-2011. Before his time at KLEW-TV he served as a producer and reporter at Northwest Public Radio from 1985-88. He also served as an adjunct instructor at LCSC in 2001.

The college's communications position officially opened on Oct. 31, 2011, when former director Bert Sahlberg took a position at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Sports Information Director Logan Fowler has served as the interim director since Sahlberg's departure.
