Community forum on Complete College Idaho Plan Is April 5
LEWISTON, Idaho - The State Board of Education and the Idaho Business Coalition for Education Excellence (IBCEE) will hold a Community Forum Thursday, April 5th, from noon - 1:00 p.m. in the Williams Conference Center on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College. The forum will provide information and seek input on the State Board's Complete College Idaho Plan. This plan is a roadmap to reach the goal of helping 60 percent of our citizens between the ages of 25 and 34 earn a postsecondary degree or certificate by 2020. This ambitious goal requires increasing the number of students choosing some form of postsecondary education. Community input, ideas and suggestions gathered at the forum will be used to create an Idaho College Access Network to assist students in pursuing the right postsecondary opportunities. The network will provide resources for students and families along with strategies to get more high school graduates into college, universities and professional technical programs.
