Social Science Scholarships

The William G. Clouser Social Work Scholarship
          Foundation Scholarship

Doctor Clouser was a faculty member in the social work program for seven years and served as program director for an additional eight and half years. This scholarship was established in honor of William G. Clouser. To be eligible, applicants must be entering their senior year, have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average, have a 3.5 social work grade point average, and be enrolled for at least nine credits each semester.  Applicants must also submit a personal letter describing why they have chosen a career in social work.  This letter must be attached to the General Application.  A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

John Streiff Memorial Scholarship
         
Foundation Scholarship

The intent of this scholarship is to provide funding for outstanding students who are majoring in social or political science at LCSC. To be eligible, students must be a junior or senior, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be actively involved in both the campus and community. Preference will be given to individuals from the LC Valley. There is one annual award available in a variable amount. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.
