Business Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
The intent of this scholarship is to provide
financial assistance to an outstanding junior or senior student in
the Business Division. To be eligible a student must be pursuing a
degree in Business, be entering their junior or senior year, and
must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA. The
amount of this scholarship is $1000.00. A General Application is
required and must be submitted by March 1.

The Rick Crane Group Real Estate Scholarship Fund
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship was established to offset the
educationally related expenses of a Lewis-Clark State College student who
intends to pursue or further a career in real estate. To be eligible,
a student shall be seeking a Bachelor's degree in Business, or an Associate
of Applied Science degree in Business Management. The recipient must
also be a student who is serious about becoming a real estate agent or
otherwise working in the field of real estate, have a grade point average of
at least 3.5 with strong potential for academic achievement, and be a full
time student taking 12 or more credits. Preference will be
given to students who are gainfully employed. The amount of the award is
$100. A General Application is required and must be submitted by
March 1.

The Sidonia R.
DiCostanzo Memorial Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
The Sidonia R. DiCostanzo Memorial Scholarship honors a strong,
independent woman.
Born in Egypt in 1925, Sidonia lived in Hungary and Italy before
immigrating to the United States.
During her time in Hungary, Sidonia experienced the horrors
of WWII and the Nazi invasion.
This scholarship has been set up by Family and Friends of
Sidonia to honor her.
To be eligible, applicants must be majoring in Management with an
accounting emphasis.
The applicant must also have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point
average. A General
Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

The Kaia Lynn
Markwalter Endowed Scholarship
Foundation
Scholarship
This scholarship
has been established in memory of Kaia Lynn Markwalter who lost her
life at a very young age from a heart defect. To honor her memory
and to help others who have experienced similar circumstances, Kaia’s
family endowed a scholarship in her name. Preference will be given
to a Lewis-Clark State College student who has been directly
impacted by congenital heart defects. Recipient of this scholarship
must be a non-traditional student that is majoring in a program
within the Business Division. The student must also have a 3.0
cumulative G.P.A. and enroll in 12 credits each semester. Current and past recipients are welcome
to re-apply each year. A General Application is required and
must be submitted by March 1.

The Mark and
Cathy Poe Business Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship
was established in honor of Mark and Cathy Poe. To be
eligible, student must be pursing a degree in business, have at
least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and must be enrolled in at least 12
credits per semester. The student must demonstrate financial
need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. A General
Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

Endowed Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
Syringa Bank’s principle objective
is to assist in the success of local small businesses and
individuals by promising to provide quality financial products
and services in a friendly and personalized banking
environment. In 2006, Syringa Bank opened its doors in
Lewiston, Idaho, and quickly became involved in many
philanthropic efforts within the Lewis-Clark Valley. One of
those efforts involved starting a scholarship at Lewis-Clark
State College to benefit LCSC Business students who show
interest in the banking business. To be eligible for this
scholarship the recipient must demonstrate financial need as
determined by the Office of Financial Aid. The student must
also be accepted into the Business Division, have at least a 3.0
cumulative grade point average, and be enrolled in at least 12
credits per semester.
