IRP 

Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)
Loans for expansion or start-up businesses. 

Maximum Loan Amount $150,000

Located in a rural area of 25,000 population
or less (outside
Lewiston City Limits) The
Project must create or retain jobs.

Both the IRP and EDA RLF's offer flexible
terms to help meet cash flow needs.  Rates
are at or below market.  Both can be used
in combination with other programs and in
some cases each other.

Located in 4 southwest counties of Washington or 5 counties in North Central Idaho.

Available to borrowers unable to obtain conventional bank loans.

USDA Business and Industry
Guarantee Program
Guaranteed loans usually in excess of $750,000. 

Maximum guarantee $10 Million

Business must operate in a community of less than 50,000 population. 10% to 20% balance sheet equity required.

SBA Guaranteed Loans
(7a Program)
Loan Guarantees up to $750,000 to finance working capital and fixed assets.
Loans to new and expanding small businesses.

Most area banks offering commercial loans
SBA 504 Program
Long-term fixed assets financing with maximum SBA share $750,000 or 40% of total cost. Some exceptions.
Must meet SBA classification of a Small Business (500 or less employees). Loans limited to fixed assets.
