BioOne is an Internet-based collection of electronic journals in the biological, ecological and
environmental sciences. Articles in BioOne are fulltext, and include all illustrations and links
from the original printed articles. BioOne journals are published by scholarly societies,
museums and other organizations, many of which are members of the American Institute
for Biological Sciences.
CINAHL with Full Text
CINAHL with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive source of full text for nursing &
allied health journals, providing full text for more than 580 journals indexed in CINAHL. This
authoritative file contains full text for many of the most used journals in the CINAHL index -
with no embargo. With full-text coverage dating back to 1981, CINAHL with Full Text is the
definitive research tool for all areas of nursing and allied health literature.

Produced by the American Geological Institute, this database is a comprehensive geoscience
database containing over 2.6 million bibliographic records from more than 3,000 journals and
other sources.
Health & Wellness Resource Center
Includes nearly 400 health/medical journals, hundreds of pamphlets, over 700 health-related videos from partner Healthology, Inc., and articles from 2,200 general interest publications in addition to a broad collection of Thomson Gale reference titles.

Communication & Mass Media Complete
Covers research and reference of the communication discipline. Provides cover-to-cover (“core”)
indexing and abstracts for over 390 journals, and selected (“priority”) coverage of 200 more, for
a combined coverage of nearly 600 titles. Includes full text for more than 285 journals.
Gale Literary Index 
Find which Gale literature series include entries on an author.  Search for the title of a literary work
to see who wrote it and/or where it's discussed in Gale's literature criticism series.
MLA International Bibliography
Provides a detailed bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the
Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to the 1920s
and contains over 1.8 million citations from more than 4,400 journals & series and 1,000 book
publishers.

Social Science

History Cooperative
This nonprofit humanities resource offers top-level online history scholarship. Besides full text,
the site also contains collateral content, including multimedia elements that could not be
reproduced in the print versions of some articles.
NCJRS Abstracts Database
The National Criminal Justice Reference Service Abstracts Database contains summaries of the
more than 195,000 criminal justice, juvenile justice, and substance abuse resources housed
in the NCJRS Library collection.  (Please request full-text documents from the LCSC Library.)
PsycINFO
Contains nearly 2.3 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters,
books, and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as the 1800s.

Contains full text for 344 "core" coverage of social science journals dating back to 1895, and 129
"priority" coverage journals. Also includes full text for more than 700 books and monographs,
and full text for 6,800 conference papers.
Social Work Abstracts 
Extensive coverage of more than 450 social work and human services journals dating back to 1977. Produced by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the database provides citations and abstracts dealing with all aspects of the social work field, including theory and practice, areas of service and social issues and problems.
