Job Descriptions

Ticket Booth Volunteer

1.       Please check-in at the volunteer booth 15 minutes prior to your assigned shift and pick up your credentials.

2.       There are two ticket sales booths. The General Admission booth is an independent booth placed near the main entrance to Harris Field. The (Main) Reserved Seating Ticket Booth is located at the southwest corner of the Activity Center, next to the main entrance. Check into your assigned location at the ticket sales window, and you will be directed as to how to enter your assigned booth.

3.       An experienced sales person is assigned to work every shift in both ticket sales booths. That individual and/or the person you are replacing in the booth will show you how to run the cash register and credit card machine.

4.       Ticket promotion packages and price lists will be displayed in each work location. The packages and price lists will be explained to you when you start your shift.

5.       This may be the first tournament visit for many of the patrons and they may not know what ticket options are available. Welcome them to Lewiston with a smile and an offer to explain the ticket packages and prices.

6.       You will be asked to periodically turn your excess cash over to bank personnel for accounting purposes.  They will have official credentials and generally travel in pairs.

7.       The Ticket Booth manager is Julee King. If you need assistance with a sale or the customer has any issue you cannot address, the manager will be available to assist you.

8.       At the end of the last shift, 2 reports are run on the credit card machine: 1) the batch report, and 2) a settlement report. Then label as ticket booth, and place them in the final cash bag of the day.

9.       Daily Will Call will be in the Main Reserved Seating Ticket Booth on the SE side of the ACC.
