The Road To THE SERIES

Part 3 of 3

The anticipation grows. The countdown continues. Seven days, 168 hours, 10,080 minutes. The first pitch of the 49th annual Avista NAIA World Series at Lewis-Clark State College’s Harris Field will soon be here. The Series is a place where memories are made: Duane Church’s monster home run, Southern Arkansas’ dramatic 23-22 win, championship dogpiles, and last year lumbering first-baseman Donnie Burkhalter choosing to play instead of having foot surgery and winning the Charles Berry Hustle Award and Tournament MVP in leading Cumberland to the title.

Don’t miss out on this year’s story! Be a part of the excitement and memories by being at Harris Field.

Tickets prices: General admission $25, reserve grandstand $45, 1st and 3rd-base lines $65, tournament pass (two adults and three children general admission) $80, 3-day family pass (two adults and three children general admission) $45. Individual day prices: 1st and 3rd-base lines $17.50, reserve grandstand $13.50 and general admission $7.50. For ticket information, call Marge at (208) 792-2471.

Volunteers are needed to help in the concessions booth, ticket booth, selling programs and the hospitality room.   There are openings for three hour shifts during the day and evening as well. To volunteer, contact either Laurie or Jesse at (208) 792-2366.
