In order to receive a baccalaureate degree in Chemistry, you must complete:

  • 65 required credits
  • the General Education Core
  • an exit interview with the division chair
  • a standardized exit exam
  • a senior research project and oral defense

    * The General Physics sequence PHYS 111 General Physics I and PHYS 112 General Physics II may be substituted for the Engineering Physics sequence.

    ** The computer science course may be chosen from CS 206 BASIC, CS 210 FORTRAN, or CS 241 Foundations of Program Development I ( currently taught in C/C++).
