Mathematics Minor

A mathematics minor requires 20 credits numbered 170 and above. Twelve of the credits must be the complete calculus sequence and three credits must be a computer language.


Courses Required for a Math Minor

MATH 170 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I4 Credits
MATH 175 Analytic Geometry and Calculus II4 Credits
MATH 275 Analytic Geometry and Calculus III4 Credits
CS 2xx Computer Science **3 Credits

Total Required Courses15 Credits

** The computer science course may be chosen from CS 206 BASIC, CS 210 FORTRAN, or CS 241 Foundations of Program Development I ( currently taught in C/C++).
