LC's Math Major
Secondary Education

In order to receive a baccalaureate degree in mathematics with secondary teaching certification, you must complete:

  • 47 required credits in the major
  • 5 elective credits in the major
  • the General Education Core
  • the secondary teaching requirements
  • an exit interview with the division chair
  • a standardized exit exam
  • a senior research project and oral defense
