Our community of local healthcare personnel and nursing faculty, many of whom continue to practice in nursing, help to provide an environment that is supportive to the individual student. In addition we offer excellent classroom and clinical experiences which challenge the student to develop strong basic nursing skills. The integrated clinical simulation laboratory experiences allow students to practice real life situations in a simulated setting, focusing on decision-making in the management of patient care.

In addition to traditional coursework, we are proud to offer courses in genetics, geriatrics and transcultural nursing, which prepare students for the twenty-first century healthcare environment.

The LCSC BSN Basic Track graduates consistently exceed the national NCLEX-RN pass rates for licensure. In addition we are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Our graduates are highly regarded for their nursing abilities as reported on employer surveys.
