Curriculum
The LCSC BSN curriculum has a pre-nursing foundation based in the liberal arts/general education core and specific BSN support coursework. All Pre-Program coursework must be completed prior to entry into the program. Students who are Lower Idaho Core complete or who transfer to LCSC with a Bachelor’s degree must also meet BSN support course requirements. The curriculum plan clearly differentiates general education core and nursing support course requirements.
For those students who wish to transfer credits, our Transfer Equivalency Guide (Transfer link) will help you see courses from other Idaho colleges that will apply to our pre-program coursework.
Note that students are required to complete Certified Nursing Assistant licensure prior to program entry. Licensure may be from any state. Lewis-Clark State College’s WorkForce Training (
www.lcsc.edu/wft) provides both onsite and online C.N.A. courses.
Please contact our Advising Center (
