Thank you for your interest in the Associate of Science in
Radiography (ASR) Program at Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC).
This competitive three-year program is comprised of one year of
pre-professional courses and two years of professional clinical
courses. The ASR Program has affiliations with a number of
clinical sites ranging from small clinics to large regional
medical centers. Such affiliations allow for diverse and rewarding
“hands-on” clinical training in a professional environment.
The mission of the ASR Program is to prepare radiography students
to provide excellent patient care in a technically proficient
manner. Radiographer’s work as part of a medical team alongside
radiologists, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician
assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses,
certified nursing assistants and a variety of other allied health
care professionals.
The LCSC ASR Program is designed to prepare students to take the

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Successful
completion of this examination and the LCSC ASR program allows
prospective radiographers the opportunity to seek state licensure
where applicable and to work locally, regionally and nationwide.
