Student
Health The goal of Student Health
Services & Student Life Counseling is to assist
students in achieving optimal physical, behavioral
and emotional health. In order to achieve
this goal, we will assist the students in their
understanding that they must take responsibility
for their own health for both short and long term
success.
All LCSC students, full and part time, are eligible to utilize
services at Student Health and Student Life.
Students DO NOT need to be enrolled in the Student
Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to utilize our
services.

EMERGENCY
PREPAREDNESS
If faced with an emergent situation, please
call 911.
Student Health Services is an Ambulatory Clinic only.
Contacting Emergency Medical Services (EMS/911) should
be the first thing you do in an emergency.
Always stay with the patient until EMS arrives.
You can call SHS after EMS has been contacted, only if
you can do so without leaving the patient.
If we can be of any assistance at all we will
come to the scene to assist.
Again, the first priority in an emergency situation is
to
call 911.
