Information Systems Analysis program prepares students for a wide range of employment opportunities in the computer hardware and software fields.  Training for positions involving LAN/WAN data communications and interconnection of computer systems through industry standard interfaces and protocols is a primary focus of the program.

 

Major elements of this course include: analysis of systems hardware and software: embedded systems; business application software; networking fundamentals; network operating systems; network security; wireless LANs; troubleshooting techniques.

 

Network communication including CISCO based routers and multilayer switching is an integral part of this course.

 

Successful completion of industry standardized certifications in CompTIA Network+, and Security+, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, and 2003 Server, and CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is required.
