Welding Technology
 

Goal:  Provide students with training in a sequential pattern for various welding
          processes as required for entry level employment in the welding industry.

Course Content
 

Syllabus in the Welding Technology program has a checklist of competencies to be covered.
Faculty review and update syllabi annually to ensure topic coverage.
 
Follow-up Survey Placement of Completers, Leavers, and Job Outs.
This is an Idaho State Division of Professional Technical Education (ISDPTE) report, prepared by LCSC Career and Advising Services that measures graduate placement rate.
Professional Exam AWS testing, both written and performance-based
Students take the AWS Level I or Level II as an Exit Exam.  Students have the opportunity to take the AWS unlimited plate test at no cost to the graduate.
