The Tennis Center is operated as a community facility. It is well shared by the college people and the valley residents. Intercollegiate tennis is also an integral component of the facility. The Tennis Center has hosted numerous collegiate teams and tournaments. The list includes conference teams from the PAC-10, Big West, Big Sky in the NCAA, in addition to the NAIA. 

The Tennis Center observes most of the major holidays and 
will be closed during those times.

A little history about the facility. In 1975, a small group of investors had the vision for indoor tennis in the valley. Many people donated their money and time to build a structure large enough to house four courts. This was truly a people's project. The facility was then operated as a private club for 10 years. Many will remember it to be the Valley Racquet Club. In 1986, the college gained ownership of the structure and its operations. And today, it services over 300 tennis members a year.
