Upgrade Clearwater Hall First Floor - Phase 2 DPW Project #15-150

In 2009 Lewis-Clark State College purchased this four-story, student residence facility located on Main Street in downtown Lewiston from private developers for $4.5M. The three upper floors feature 32 finished, apartment-style living suites, which can accommodate up to 116 residents. The Idaho Division of Public Works allocated $375,000 from the Permanent Building Fund to upgrade the final unfinished portion of the first floor of the facility. This project continues the Clearwater Hall build-out (the west end was completed in Phase One in DPW project #11-150 and is the home of Adult Basic Education). The unfinished vacant space in the middle section of the first floor will be configured as office, meeting, and classroom space.  The east end of the space would be configured as open multipurpose space (gallery space, meeting area, and open bay classroom area).  When completed, the remodeled office area will be the new home for LCSC’s Small Business Development Center.
