Student Intern/Practicum Insurance

Students participating in a LCSC approved internship are covered by the State of Idaho's liability insurance ("job shadowing" is not covered).  Students that are participating in a medical field internship (nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, dental assistants, etc.) are required to have additional insurance.

Students in medical fields pay a course fee that covers the additional insurance and are enrolled automatically by the Administrative Services office.

If you have questions regarding whether you are covered by the additional insurance, please contact your program's department support staff or the Administrative Services office.
